We Never Know Which Domains Are Going to Sell!

The really exciting aspect of running Australia’s largest domain name marketplace is that we never know what is going to sell next!

Hence the “wheel spin” image.

It is very hard to predict what is going to be popular.

We’ve sold domains that I thought we’d never get an offer on.

Conversely, domains that I thought would be snapped up quickly remain unsold.

But like any good retail store, we have to have lots of different stock to cater for any possibility.

With over 9000 Aussie domains listed, we get offers every day. Most are via the website (make an offer). We also field text messages and phone calls.

Every offer gets responded to – even the ridiculously low ones. I have learnt in this business to never assume!

Where possible, I try and have a phone conversation with serious enquiries. Nothing beats a personal call – so much better than email.

There is no better feeling than making a deal come together. Whether it be an outright purchase or a payment plan, we will try and make it happen.

On top of some “com au” sales, these two particular enduser sales were completed this week.

Both were the new .au extension – two diverse industries.

I highlight these to demonstrate that we never know what we are going to get offers on.
