Congratulations to Chris Hyde of Driving Digital for his double-whammy acquisition of ppi.com.au and ppi.au!
First, he won the com.au on our Jackpot domain auctions for an absolute loss-leader price.
Then he approached us to purchase the .au which was listed here on our aftermarket site.
We had a friendly chat, and given that he seemed to be a nice guy, we did him a special deal for him.
In this instance, the au was worth more than the com au!
With these two premium domains, Chris now has a great marketing opportunity related to the PPI market. He told me that PPI (pre-purchase inspections) are a big thing in the automotive industry.
