As I indicated in my previous article, last week was a stellar week when it came to sales of premium real estate domains.
We sold AscotRealEstate.com.au to and enduser – that sale was covered here.
The following day we sold BrightonRealEstate.com.au to the same development company. We thank them for their business, and congratulate them on their foresight.
If you live in Victoria, or just generally follow real estate and property news, you will know that Brighton is one of the most valuable postcodes in Australia. There are many multi-million dollar property transactions every year.
The benefits of an exact match real estate domain name
It is my belief that if a real estate agent or property developer achieves just one sale as a result of owning this domain, the commission earned from that sale will far exceed their initial acquisition cost. This cycle can be repeated as often as needed.
Additionally, ask yourself this question. Would want your competitors to have your premium suburb domain name instead of you? There is only one of every suburb – and once sold, they / it is probably off the market for a long time.
