Profit’s First Video!

Our homepage at Profit.com.au has had quite a shakeup in the last week.
The biggest change is the addition of our first-ever video.
There is no question in my mind that a shortish audiovisual gets a message across succinctly and concisely (compared to pages of blurb!).
It may not be perfect, but “beginning is winning”. This is going to be the first of many.

Process / Credits
- I wrote the script and then used two different AI programs to get their embellishments. The final version was created.
- Then I went out to Fiverr and approached both male and female Aussie voiceover artists (thanks to my mate James Wester for finding these accomplished people originally).
- I got three different voiceovers and ended up choosing Jack. By consensus, he was the best for us this time around.
- Our very talented Luke then created the video you see, and he engineered/coordinated the final production. As he is also a musician who records and mixes music, his creative skills came in handy!
Moving forward
We intend to do quite a few videos for both Profit and Jackpot (our auction site).
Next up will be a short product video on Profit about the benefits of 3-Letter domain names. This will be available on every single listing that people search for.
